Health-RI 2019: Opening doors to P4 health - Accessible research data and resources for predictive, preventive, personalized, participatory healthcare and vital citizens

Health-RI conference is a joint endeavour of the Dutch Biobanking organisation (BBMRI-NL), the organisation for ICT in education and research (SURF), the Dutch bioinformatics platform (ELIXIR-NL), the European Translational Research Network (EATRIS), the Dutch Techcentre for Lifesciences (DTL), the Federation of University Medical Centres (NFU), the Dutch Association of Medical Specialists, Health~Holland and Lygature.

Health-RI will focus on the supporting role of science and data infrastructure in P4 medicine (prediction, prevention, personalization and participation). Participants will learn what tools are available to support complex research projects, data collection, analysis and integration. Exciting translational and clinical science that makes use of the Health-RI infrastructure or components thereof will be presented.

• Prediction: Learn best practices in identifying and recognizing risks for diseases, adverse intervention outcomes , and signs of illness before it manifests.
• Prevention: Learn about exciting new tailored tools to prevent disease development.
• Personalization: Learn how to optimizing the wellness of individuals by predicting disease and delivering personalized treatments.
• Participation: Learn how individuals can be well informed about their health and empowered to make their own healthcare decisions.
