There is a rapid increase in our knowledge about the role of genetics in disease, and at the same time genetic tests are becoming more complete, faster and cheaper. Because of this, genetics will undoubtedly be used more routinely in clinical care, but the question is how to implement the different genetic tests in the most useful, responsible, reliable and efficient manner. This will be discussed and debated during this interactive 1-day meeting of translational scientists, health care providers, representatives from patient organizations as well as health care insurance companies.
