The impact of economic crisis may be reflected on the increase of healthcare cost, may contribute to the adoption of unhealthy lifestyles, and affect continuity of patient care. The economic crisis has also consequences on the physicians’ response to the increasing health needs of the population, workload, and professional or academic career. However, little has been reported on the impact and the role of primary care in alleviating the burden from the society and families/patients and as well as on the quality of primary care services.
